SMEs’ top concerns revealed
A survey by Dun & Bradstreet has revealed that Brexit is the biggest concern among SMEs, with 41% of those responding to a survey fearing it could negatively impact their ability to recruit the right talent in the future, and 40% believe it has significantly slowed their growth. Some 64% said the outcome of Brexit is the most important factor for their success. Other issues causing SMEs worry include GDPR, with 67% saying its introduction has impacted their growth, while 48% said that the overdue payments put their business at risk of failure, and 63% said late payments have the most significant impact on their business of any external factor. According to the survey, business leaders are prioritising recruiting the right talent- for 37% it will be their main priority next year.
